Biography:

Yogita Bihani, an Indian actress, embarked on her television journey by portraying the character of Palak Sharma in Ekta Kapoor’s romantic soap opera “Dil Hi Toh Hai” in 2018. She completed her high school education at Sumermal Jain Public School in 2012 and pursued a degree in Computer Science at Delhi University from 2012 to 2015. Following her graduation, she worked at various positions in the Redfoodie Startup in Faridabad, Delhi NCR until 2016.

Subsequently, Yogita relocated to Mumbai and took on the role of Sales and Marketing Coordinator at the Pratham Education Foundation. Later, she served as a Manager (Sales and Operations) at Trilyo until 2018 when she landed the role of Palak Sharma in Ekta Kapoor’s Indian soap opera, “Dil Hi Toh Hai,” broadcasted on Sony TV. She also made appearances in several commercial advertisements and had a cameo role in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show “Kavach.” Additionally, she played a supporting role in the Netflix film “Ak vs Ak.”

Notably, she portrayed the character of Chanda in the 2022 film “Vikram Vedha.” Yogita’s foray into the glamour world commenced in 2018 when she participated in and was selected as one of the Top 3 contestants in Femina Miss India Rajasthan 2018.

Her major breakthrough came in April 2018 when she was chosen to shoot a promo with Salman Khan for his forthcoming game show “Dus Ka Dum” on Sony TV. After the promo aired, Ekta Kapoor, a prominent Indian film and television producer, noticed her and subsequently cast her in the lead role opposite Karan Kundra in her next show, “Dil Hi Toh Hai.”

Yogita discussed her life challenges and how her decisions shaped her career in a TEDx talk titled “The Crossroad of Choices” in November 2020. In “The Kerala Story,” she portrayed a resilient and difficult-to-influence character who transforms into a woman in despair after enduring a traumatic incident.
