Tabaillon, born in Sète, Hérault, France, began his career as an editor with Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp. He went on to work frequently with French filmmaker Louis Leterrier on projects such as The Incredible Hulk, Transporter 2, and Now You See Me. His notable credits also include Taken 2 for Fox Broadcasting Company, The Prodigies for Warner Bros., and The Legend of Hercules for Summit Entertainment.
In 2003, he received the Lutin Award for Best Editing for the 2002 French short film Squash.
Tabaillon is additionally recognized for editing the international version of India’s high-budget epic Baahubali: The Beginning. While the domestic cut was edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, Arka Media Works brought Tabaillon on board to create a re-edited version for global release. This international cut, which was about 20 minutes shorter, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival and was later prepared for distribution in China, Japan, as well as several European and Latin American territories.
