American musician, music producer, and video game, television, and movie composer Tyler Bates was born on June 5, 1965. With films like Dawn of the Dead, 300, Sucker Punch, Halloween and Halloween II, and the John Wick franchise, he primarily works in the action and horror cinema genres. Zack Snyder, Rob Zombie, Genndy Tartakovsky, Neil Marshall, William Friedkin, Scott Derrickson, James Gunn, Chad Stahelski, David Leitch, and Ti West are just a few of the directors he has worked with. He also produced the albums The Pale Emperor, Heaven Upside Down, and One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 and serves as the lead guitarist for the American rock group Marilyn Manson. He is a member of Jerry Cantrell’s studio and touring band.
