Trent Opaloch is a Canadian cinematographer recognized for his collaborations with directors Neill Blomkamp and the Russo brothers.
He received a BAFTA nomination for Best Cinematography in 2010 for his work on District 9. In 2020, he appeared in the music video for Pearl Jam’s single “Retrograde.”
Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Opaloch studied filmmaking at Confederation College before relocating to Vancouver to begin his professional career.
