Biography:

Kavita Radheshyam  embarked on her acting journey by earning a degree from an acting institute in 2009. She honed her skills further by participating in short films produced by Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International. Her cinematic debut came with director Faisal Saif’s Hindi feature film “Paanch Ghantey Mien Paanch Crore,” which garnered attention for its bold content and was recognized in The Times of India’s Top 10 Bold Film category of 2012.

Despite opportunities, Radheshyam declined a role in “Kamasutra 3D” directed by Rupesh Paul. She also ventured into regional cinema with the Marathi remake of the classic 1988 film “Khoon Bhari Maang,” titled “Bharla Malwat Rakhtaana.”

Radheshyam’s collaboration with director Faisal Saif continued with projects like “Main Hoon Rajinikanth,” “Amma,” and the forthcoming “Shraap 3D.” However, her involvement in “Main Hoon Rajinikanth” led to controversy when Tamil actor Rajinikanth sought legal action to prevent its release. The film eventually hit the screens with a modified title, “Main Hoon (Part-Time) Killer.”

Outside of her film career, Radheshyam faced backlash for her remarks on social media following the Orlando nightclub shooting. Her comments questioning the legitimacy of the LGBT community sparked criticism and controversy. Despite facing backlash, she remained steadfast in her views, citing legal opinions and sparking further debate with controversial statements regarding HIV and celebrity status.

Radheshyam’s career continues to be marked by both her cinematic contributions and her outspoken opinions on social issues, making her a figure of interest and controversy in the Indian entertainment landscape.
