Tomasz “Tomek” Bagiński, who was born in Bałystok on January 10, 1976, is a Polish illustrator, animator, producer, and director. His name is pronounc. He studied art on his own. Bagiński attended Warsaw University of Technology to study architecture.Rain, his debut picture, garnered multiple regional accolades and served as the entry point to Platige Image, where he currently serves as creative director. He worked on his first short film, The Cathedral, from 1999 to 2002. It earned first place at SIGGRAPH, the largest animation and special effects festival, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film the following year.
