English actor and producer Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis was born on December 16, 1984. His portrayal of Tobias Eaton in The Divergent Series (2014–2016) brought him notoriety. He has had two roles as twin brothers in the horror movie Underworld: Awakening (2012) and Underworld: Blood Wars (2016), the science fiction picture Archive (2020), and the dark comedy The Monkey (2025).

James was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his roles in the romance series The Time Traveler’s Wife (2022), the short-lived CBS criminal drama series Golden Boy (2013), and the dark comedy series The White Lotus (2022). He has been the main character of Guy Ritchie’s action comedy series The Gentlemen since 2024.
