Tapas Nayak is known for Iyobinte Pusthakam (2014), Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India (2001) and Mersal (2017).

Tapas Nayak is a well-known sound designer of India. He was born on 12-12-1950. He is famous in both Bollywood and Tollywood for his great work. He started his career in the year 2000, and he completed his 18 years in the industry.

During the struggle, he chose Mr. H. Sridhar as a Mentor. He started a career with H. Sridhar (Renowned sound engineer in India) when he went to Chennai to meet Mr. H. Sridhar and decided to assist him with his Projects. While he was working as a sound assistant with H. Sridhar, He got his first career BREAKTHROUGH with the movie of LAGAAN, release in 2001 with an Aamir Khan starring movie it was the biggest movie of that year.
