Sumeet Kotian

Biography:

Sumeet Kotian, an Indian film editor, was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling at Modern English School, Mumbai, and pursued a Bachelor of Mass Media at K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce. Fluent in English, Hindi, Tulu, and Marathi, Kotian’s linguistic versatility adds depth to his work.

Married to Tanya Maheshwari, an Indian producer, Kotian has made significant contributions to various films, including “A Gentleman” (2017), “Rocky Handsome” (2016), and “Madaari” (2016). Beyond the silver screen, he has also edited numerous television serials and episodes of web series such as “The Family Man,” with episodes titled “Pariah,” “Fighting Dirty,” “Act of War,” “The Patriot,” “Dance of Death,” among others.
