Suhas Joshi

Biography:

A Marathi actress who has acted in theater, movies, and television, Suhasini Joshi is most commonly known by her stage name, Suhas Joshi. She also appears in a lot of Bollywood movies. In 2018, she received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Acting. For her contributions to Marathi cinema, she was given the Filmfare Marathi Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

Joshi completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Psychology, and Sanskrit at the University of Pune. She also has classical music training and has passed the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’s four Madhyama exams. Her spouse, theater artist Subhash Joshi, is also her spouse. Sonali Joshi and Saket Joshi are her two children.
