Story:

Dead Pixels is a Telugu fantasy comedy series penned by Akshay Polla and helmed by Aditya Mandala. Produced by Saideep Reddy Borra, Sameer Gogate, and Rahul Tamada under the banners of BBC Studios India and Tamada Media Ltd., the series stars Niharika Konidela, Akshay Lagusani, Sai Ronak, Harsha Chemudu, Rajeev Kanakala, and Bhavana Sagi in prominent roles.

The series centers around three introverts and one ambivert who forge an unexpected bond through an online video game. It delves into the contemporary reality where people often spend more time in the virtual realm than the real world. The main characters are competitive and flawed, yet they possess heart, quirks, and a sense of relentless fun. Gayatri, an avid gamer, develops an attachment to a virtual character only to despise his real-life persona upon meeting him. Meanwhile, Bhargav has been secretly in love with her for two years, a fact she remains oblivious to. Their third roommate, Aishwarya, provides both support and a stark reality check.

The narrative follows Bhargav and Gayatri as they navigate their struggles and gradually shift their focus from the virtual world to real life. Dead Pixels, a remake of the British comedy series of the same name, premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on May 19, 2023.
