Uma Maheswari is a former Indian actress who went by the stage names Sivaranjani in the Tamil and Malayalam film industries and Ooha in the Telugu film business. She did some work in Malayalam films in the 1990s, although her main focus was on Tamil and Telugu films. For Aame, she won the 1994 Nandi Award for Best Actress.
She was called “Chinna Kushboo” because of her vivacious appearance and resemblance to the actress Kushboo. Kushboo was offered several film roles, but she turned them down.
Ooha was born in Tamil Nadu in 1970. Roshan Meka, Rohan, and Medha are Ooha’s three children from her 1997 marriage to actor Srikanth.
