R. Narayanan, popularly known as Sirpy in the Indian film industry, has left an indelible mark as a versatile music composer, primarily recognized for his contributions in Tamil cinema, although he has also lent his musical talent to Telugu and Malayalam films. His musical journey began in 1992 with Manobala’s “Shenbaga Thottam,” marking his debut as a composer. Notably, his son, Nandhan Ram, entered the film industry as a lead actor through the film “Palli Paruvathile” in 2017, marking a continuation of their family’s involvement in the realm of cinema.
