Sharath Ravi

Biography:

Indian actor Sharath Ravi is most known for his roles in Tamil movies. Since 2008, his early acting roles have demonstrated his aptitude in the world of short films. After more than five years of experience in short film festivals, Sharath skillfully captured the interest of viewers with his comedic, villainous, and character parts.

He eventually made his debut in a Tamil feature film, Burma (2014), a heist comedy. He has performed in over five online series and over 20 movies, including the first-ever Tamil web series to be featured as an Amazon Original on Amazon Prime, Vella Raja.

Putham Pudhu Kaalai is an analogous video that was released on October 16 on Amazon Prime Videos. It consists of five short film pieces that were shot during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sharath appears in the Karthik Subbaraj-directed Miracle movie segment, which centers on three characters and money.

He portrayed the sensitive, important, and humorous character of Vicky in the Karthik Subbaraj film Jagame Thandiram. Following several cinema roles, Sharath portrayed a Malayali character in Guru Smaran’s short film Kanneer Anjali. In addition, Charukesh’s short film Puzhu has him in it. Because they were included in the anthologies Aviyal and Bench Talkies, which were produced by renowned Tamil cinema director Karthik Subbaraj, both of these films got him the much-needed break.

Additionally, he played a significant part in the P.S. Mithran-directed, George C. Williams-cinematography, Yuvan Shankar Raja-music picture Irumbuthirai, which went on to become a huge hit. Another one of his standout roles was in the popular film Dhuruvangal 16, which was helmed by Karthick Naren. He starred in the pilot short film Night Show, which was turned into the film Maya, directed by Ashwin Saravanan and starring the female superstar Nayanthara.

Owing to his outstanding performance in the short film, he was also cast in the feature picture as an auto driver, which brought him further much-needed praise from the movie enthusiast. In addition, he acted in popular movies including Hero and Maari. The movie segment Miracle of Putham Pudhu Kaalai features him in a positive light.
