Biography:

American screenwriter, producer, and Chief Creative Officer of The Story Factory, Shane Salerno was born on November 27, 1972. Thirteen of his books have reached the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Among the movies he has written are Armageddon, Savages, Shaft, Avatar: The Way of Water, and the television show Hawaii Five-0. Two of his films were the biggest grossing pictures of the year (1998 and 2022), the third highest grossing film of all time, and he has written, co-authored, or rewritten six films that opened at number one at the box office.
