Indian producer and editor of motion pictures, Shameer Muhammad primarily works in Malayalam movies. He was a graduate of Thrissur’s Chethana Media Institute. He served as a spot editor for a number of films before making his freelance editing debut with Charlie.
Muhammad began his working life as an editor of commercial records and films. Subsequently, he relocated to the Tamil film business where he served as the late, renowned Kishore Te’s assistant editor. He has served as a spot editor for the following films: Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015); Balyakalasakhi (2014); Jawan of Vellimala (2012); I Love Me (2012); Nee Ko Nja Cha (2013); Kalimannu (2013); Memories (2013); Grandmaster (2012); and Salaam Kashmir (2014).
He edited the battle scenes in Sandamarutham (2015), Gabbar is Back (2015), Valiyavan (2015), and Singam 3 (2017). In addition, he has edited over fifteen trailers and several national brand advertisements. With Charlie, under Martin Prakkat’s direction, he became independent. Reshma and Muhammad got married, and they have two kids together. Right now, the family resides in Vyttila, Kochi, with his mother Shereefa.
