Shaji Choudhary

Biography:

Shaji Choudhary, born on July 7, 1972, is an Indian actor renowned for his supporting roles in both Indian films and TV serials. Originally from Dodwari, Tonk, Rajasthan, Shaji gained recognition for his performances in projects such as Main Hoon Na, Jodhaa Akbar, Shaurya Aur Suhani, PK, and Mirzapur.

Raised in Dodwari village, Tonk, Rajasthan, Shaji hails from a farming family with parents Roopnarayan Choudhary and Rampyari Choudhary. At the age of 12, he relocated to Jaipur with his elder brother. Shaji attended St. Soldiers for schooling and completed his college education at Rajasthan University. He has four brothers and a sister. Shaji is married to Subdhara Choudhary, and they have two children, a daughter named Vaishali and a son named Manas.

Beginning his acting career in Mumbai, Shaji debuted in the second season of the TV serial Shaktimaan on DD1, portraying the villain Kilvish. His first film appearance was in Main Hoon Na. Notably, in 2008, he starred alongside Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Ashutosh Gowariker’s historical drama Jodhaa Akbar as Akbar’s general, Adham Khan. Subsequently, he played Aghor in Shaurya Aur Suhani and appeared as Tapasvi Maharaj’s bodyguard in the film PK (2014). In the TV series Mirzapur, Shaji portrayed Maqbool Khan, the trusted henchman of Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). Additionally, he made appearances in various roles in C.I.D episodes.
