Shah Ra attended Pattukkottai’s Laurel High Secondary School for his education. He graduated from SRM Institute of Science and Technology with a B. Sc. in Visual Communication. He was employed at Hello FM 106.4 as a radio personality. After launching the YouTube channels Friday Facts and Temple Monkeys, he gained notoriety a YouTube channel in Tamil, in collaboration with Vijay Varadharaj. In the 2017 movie Maanagaram, he made his big-screen acting debut. He is well-known for his roles in Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu (2018) and Meesaya Murukku (2017).
