Bollywood singer, musician, and composer Sandesh Shandilya is from India. He is well known for his work on the movies Road, Chameli, Uff Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai, Socha Na Tha, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001).
At the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, his album Piya Basanti took home the International Viewers’ Choice Award. On this CD, K.S. Chithra and his master Ustad Sultan Khan sang the song Piya Basanti for him.The renowned Sarangi player Ustad Sultan Khan taught him the fundamentals of music.
