S. Ramakrishnan, a prolific writer hailing from Tamil Nadu, India, has dedicated 27 years to a multifaceted career in Tamil literature. His extensive body of work spans short stories, novels, plays, children’s literature, and translations.

Ramakrishnan boasts an impressive literary repertoire, encompassing 9 novels, 20 short story collections, 3 plays, 21 children’s books, 3 translation works, and much more. Notably, he received the Sahitya Akademi award in 2018 for his novel “Sanjaaram.”

His impactful writings delve into diverse themes, from the intricacies of Mahabharata in “Upa Paandavam” to the plight of oppressed communities in “Nedum Kuruthi.”
