Biography:

Indian film director S. R. Prabhakaran mainly works in Tamil cinema. His first film, Sundarapandian, is the one for which he is most recognized. He was once S. D. Saba’s associate as well as M. Sasikumar’s former associate.

S. R. Prabhakaran is the director of the 2012 Tamil-language comedy drama film Sundarapandian. In addition to producing the movie, Sasikumar also portrayed the title character. Lakshmi Menon, Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Inigo Prabhakaran, and Soundararaja had supporting parts.

Premkumar handled the cinematography, while N. R. Raghunanthan composed the music. On September 14, 2012, the movie was released to mostly favorable reviews. The movie was remade in Telugu as Speedunnodu and Kannada as Raja Huli after it became commercially successful.
