S. Gopinath

Biography:

Gopinath, a renowned figure in the Kollywood (Tamil Film Industry), has an extensive career as a cinematographer and director of photography. He began his journey under the guidance of the industry’s prominent cinematographer, Rajeev Menon, collaborating on several films.

In 2019, he served as the Director of Photography for the movie “Thadam,” directed by Magizh Thirumeni, and his exceptional work in “Vettaikaraan” (2009) gained significant recognition.

Gopinath has showcased his talent in various films, including “Dil,” “Dhool,” “Ghilli,” and “Kuruvi.” He expanded his horizons by stepping into Bollywood with Amit Sharma’s “Singh Saab the Great” in 2013.

Throughout his career, Gopinath has collaborated with leading figures in the Tamil Film Industry, including Vijay, Vikram, Trisha, Vivek, and many others.
