Richard Sharaf Babu, better known by his stage name Richard Rishi, is an Indian actor who has appeared in both Tamil and Telugu films. He made his feature film debut in 1990 with “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari,” which brought him recognition and acclaim. The son of Babu and Alice, he was born in Thiruvalla, India, on October 20, 1977. He completed his intermediate at Loyola Matriculation School. He had a close relationship with his two younger sisters, Shalini and Samili, both of whom went on to become actresses. Speaking of his family history, his mother family was Malayali and lived in Chennai, while his paternal family is from Kollam.
ichard Rishi acted as a child actor in his childhood and made a debut with Tamil movie named “Anjali” which was released in 1990. But, he was recognized as an adult actor as he worked in “Kadhal Virus” which was released in 2002. In the movie, he worked as a lead alongside Sridevi Vijaya Kumar.
Later, he made an appearance in the film “Koottu,” which is about two college friends. He played the part of Harikrishnan in the movie, which was released in 2004.
He made an appearance in the 2005 film “Girivalam”. A version of the Bollywood film “Humraaz” was used. Shaam, Tanu Roy, and Richard Rishi all contributed to the film. He enjoyed great success after the movie’s success.
His most well-known films include “Dammunnodu,” which came out in 2010, “Netru Indru,” which came out in 2014, and “Pazhaya Vannarapettai,” which came out in 2016.
