Indian actress Rethika Srinivas has acted in Tamil movies.
After graduating from SRM University with a degree in electronic engineering, Rethika studied for a master’s in media studies in the UK. She then started her own media company, Ice Breakers, which assisted in putting on concerts in Dubai and worked as a model in a number of commercials.
She met director Balaji Sakthivel while going through the TVC audition process for an advertising. He was casting females for his upcoming film. Rethika was chosen and received praise for her portrayal of a conceited young mother in the drama film Vazhakku Enn 18/9 (2012) by the director.
After receiving further film offers, she took a sabbatical from her job as a brand consultant and concentrated on acting ventures.
She has since worked in films including Biriyani (2013) and Massu Engira Masilamani (2015) Balu Mahendra Kadhai Neram
