Swedish actress Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundström was born on October 19, 1983. Ferguson made her acting debut in motion pictures in 2004 with the Swedish slasher movie Drowning Ghost, having started her career on television in 1999 with the Swedish serial opera Nya tider. Her role as Elizabeth Woodville in the British drama The White Queen (2013), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film, catapulted her to international renown.
Ferguson starred opposite Tom Cruise as MI6 agent Ilsa Faust in three Mission: Impossible movies in the United States: Rogue Nation (2015), Fallout (2018), and Dead Reckoning (2023). She costarred in the horror movies Life (2017) and Doctor Sleep (2019), and she portrayed Jenny Lind in the 2017 musical The Greatest Showman. Additionally, she starred in supporting parts in the science fiction movies Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024), the comedy-drama Florence Foster Jenkins (2016), and the thriller The Girl on the Train (2016). She started starring in the science fiction series Silo on Apple TV+ in 2023.
