Indian actress Rajshri Nair (born Meisha Aftab) is well-known for her roles in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films and television shows. Playing the title role in Karuthamma (1994), Rajashree made her Tamil film debut and was awarded the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. Hyderabad Blues (1998), an Indian English film, starring her. Meghasandesam (2001) was her debut in Malayalam.
