Indian actor Rajkumar Sethupathy primarily appears in Tamil and Malayalam films. He has acted in fifty Malayalam and Tamil motion pictures. He made his cinematic debut in the M. Bhaskar-directed Tamil film Soolam, followed by Mammotty in the 1981 Malayalam film Thrishna. He was a prominent actor between 1982 and 1988.
Rajkumar was born into a royal family in Chennai. He is the son of Leelarani and producer Shanmugha Rajeswara Sethupathi. Latha, a Tamil actress, is his older sister. He finished his two years at South India Film Chambers studying acting. In 1988, he wed the Tamil actress Sripriya. Son Nagarjun and daughter Sneha belong to the couple.
