Biography:

Venkataraghavan Ranganathan, commonly known as Raaghav in the entertainment industry, is an Indian actor and television personality based in Tamil Nadu. Born on April 9, 1974, he initially gained recognition through his participation in season 1 of the television show “Jodi Number One.” His career path took a turn when he ventured into the world of acting, transitioning from a background in engineering.

Prior to securing lead roles in films, Raaghav started his acting journey with supporting roles in various movies. His breakthrough as the lead hero came with the film “Nanjupuram.” Interestingly, Raaghav holds a gold medal from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Chennai, where he completed his education in 1994. Following his academic pursuits, he pursued further studies at the University of Illinois before returning to Chennai. However, driven by his passion for the media and the world of entertainment, he decided to shift his career focus to acting.

In his personal life, Raaghav is married to his TV co-star Preetha. The couple has not only shared their lives but also appeared together in popular reality shows like “Jodi Number 1” on STAR Vijay and “Maanada Mayilada” on Kalaignar TV, where they made it to the position of 1st runner-up in both shows. His journey in both the television and film industries has solidified his presence as a notable figure in Tamil Nadu’s entertainment landscape.
