Prem Shankar Jha is an Indian writer, journalist, and economist who was born on December 22, 1938. He has worked for the World Bank, the United Nations Development Program, and the Indian Prime Minister’s communication advisor. He worked as an editor at The Times of India, The Economic Times, The Financial Express, and Hindustan Times. He is currently a senior journalist and managing editor of Financial World, Tehelka’s business newspaper. Jha has written twelve books, such as Crouching Dragon, Hidden Tiger: Can China and India Dominate the West and Kashmir 1947: Rival Versions of History. Additionally, he is Muslim Mirror’s patron.
