Pravesh Rana is an Indian model, actor, and television presenter. In addition to walking the catwalk for numerous renowned designers, he was crowned Mr. India in 2008. In addition to hosting multiple seasons of the reality series Emotional Atyachar and taking part in the reality television show Bigg Boss (2009)
He has presented award shows such as the Golden Petal Awards, Indian Television Awards, and Screen Awards. With the 2013 release of Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, he made his Bollywood debut. In 2014, he was nominated for an Apsara Award in the Best Male Debut category.
Later, he starred in London Confidential (2020), directed by Kanwal Sethi, and San’ 75 Pachattar (2016), both of which were broadcast on Zee5. In the Netflix original series The Serpent (2021), he portrayed Thapa. Additionally, he had a brief role in Radhe (2021) as Heeralal. In Ram Setu, he also portrayed Project Manager Bali, the primary antagonist.
He attended St. Mary’s Academy in Meerut for his last education before transferring to Ramjas College at Delhi University to get his B.A. (Honors) in Economics. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with a Master of Fine Art (MFA).
He was the 2008 Haywards 5000 Mr India champion from Mumbai. Rana has hosted multiple seasons of Emotional Atyachar and worked for television networks like Zoom, STAR Plus, The Walt Disney Company, and Colors (Viacom 18). In the third season of Bigg Boss, Rana came in second. He most recently appeared in the TV series The Serpent on BBC ONE.
