Prakash Rajan

Biography:

Prakash Rajan, a well-known actor, currently stars in the television drama “Deivamagal,” broadcast on Sun TV. Often mistaken for the film actor Prakash Raj, he hails from Chennai. Throughout his career, he has taken on diverse roles, including that of a Police Inspector. His television credits include appearances in serials such as “Mundhanai Mudichu” and “Chellamaye” on Sun TV, as well as “Pirivom Sandhippom” on Vijay TV. Additionally, he has ventured into films, notably “Ko,” featuring Jiiva and Karthiga, and “Thillalangadi,” starring Jeyam Ravi and Tamannah Bhatia.

Prakash gained recognition for his portrayal in “Mundhanai Mudichu” as one of Delhi Kumar’s sons, a role he impeccably executed despite playing a physically challenged character. In “Deivamagal,” he shines as Kumar Chidambaram, the elder brother of the family, with Krishna portraying his brother Prakash Chidambaram. Noteworthy performances by S.V.S. Kumar as the father and Venniradai Nirmala as the mother complement Prakash’s role. Rekha Krishnappa adds depth to the narrative as Prakash Rajan’s wife and the antagonist of the series.
