He initiated his career as a director with his debut film, the blockbuster Kannada production “Vishnuvardhana” in 2011. The movie received high acclaim and garnered him several awards, including a Filmfare Awards nomination, highlighting his talent and storytelling prowess. In addition to his directorial ventures, Kumaran has also contributed to the film “Lingaa” (2014), starring Rajinikanth, where he provided the story and dialogues, showcasing his versatility as a writer.
