Pavel Navageethan developed screenplays for movies because he wanted to become a filmmaker but was unable to find producers. After that, he made his acting debut in Madras, under the direction of his buddy Pa. Ranjith, as Viji, a henchman. He became known as Madras Viji thanks to his part in the movie. Before becoming a director, Pavel Navageethan later appeared in a number of other films, such as Kuttram Kadithal, Magalir Mattum, Vada Chennai, and Peranbu. After the editor was successful in finding a producer for the movie, he made his directorial debut with the mystery thriller V1.
