Biography:

Patrick Arnold Shriver Schwarzenegger (born September 18, 1993) is an American actor and entrepreneur, known for his roles in The Staircase (2022), American Sports Story (2024), and the third season of The White Lotus (2025). He is the son of actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver.

Born at Providence St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, Schwarzenegger was raised in Los Angeles. He is the eldest of five siblings, including two older sisters, a younger brother, and a paternal half-brother, Joseph Baena. Holding dual Austrian-American citizenship, he speaks English and some German and frequently visits Austria. He is also the first cousin of Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger attended Brentwood School, where he took private acting lessons with Nancy Banks. In 2012, he enrolled at the University of Southern California, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in cinematic arts from the USC Marshall School of Business in 2016. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

At age 10, he made his film debut with a small role in The Benchwarmers. While growing up, he practiced acting with his father and continued his training at USC and Nancy Banks Studio. At 15, he launched his own clothing line.

Over the years, Schwarzenegger secured supporting roles in films such as Stuck in Love (2012), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015). His first leading role came in Midnight Sun (2018), a romantic drama co-starring Bella Thorne. He later starred in the horror film Daniel Isn’t Real (2019), Echo Boomers (2020), and Netflix’s coming-of-age film Moxie (2021). In 2023, he played Luke Riordan / Golden Boy in Gen V, a spin-off of The Boys, before taking on the role of Saxon Ratliff in The White Lotus Season 3.

Beyond acting, Schwarzenegger gained experience in the film industry by interning with producer John Davis in 2011 and 2012. He later became a franchisee of Blaze Pizza, opening locations at USC and The Grove in Los Angeles before selling his shares to invest in health-focused startups, including Liquid I.V., Super Coffee, and vegan chicken brand Nuggs.

In 2020, he and his mother co-founded MOSH, a brain nutrition and wellness brand, which officially launched on World Alzheimer’s Day. However, the effectiveness of its ingredients in improving brain health has been debated.

Schwarzenegger lives in Los Angeles and was previously in a relationship with singer Miley Cyrus from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015, he has been with model Abby Champion, and the couple announced their engagement on December 26, 2023.
