Indian actor Niteesh Pandey (17 January 1972 – 23 May 2023) worked in both television and motion pictures.
Pandey started performing in plays in 1990. His first acting role came in 1995, when he portrayed a detective in the television series Tejas. Sadly, the show was never aired since the channel BITV lost its satellite. In addition to working in films like Om Shanti Om and Khosla Ka Ghosla, Pandey has worked in serials including Manzilein Apani Apani, Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani, Saaya, Justajoo, and Durgesh Nandini. In addition, he oversaw Dream Castle Productions, an independent radio show production company. He collaborated with Sudha Chandran on theater productions including Aastha and Misal Pav. His Khosla Ka Ghosla performance caught people’s attention.
In 1998, Pandey wed Ashwini Kalsekar; the couple separated in 2002. Later on, he wed Arpita Pandey, a TV actress. Their son, Aarav, was born.
At the age of 51, Pandey passed away from a heart attack on May 23, 2023, at a hotel in Igatpuri, Nashik, Maharashtra.
