Samuel Nicholas Wechsler (born September 3, 1978) is an American actor best known for his roles as Kyle Valenti on Roswell and Jack Porter on ABC’s Revenge.
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wechsler moved to Hollywood after high school to pursue acting. His early roles included a purse-stealing punk in the TV movie Full Circle and Kevin “Trek” Sanders in Team Knight Rider. He later appeared in shows like Silk Stalkings, The Lazarus Man, and The Perfect Game.
From 1999 to 2002, he starred as Kyle Valenti in Roswell, followed by guest roles in Malcolm in the Middle, Cold Case, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Lie to Me, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Chase.
In 2011, Wechsler gained widespread recognition as Jack Porter in Revenge, portraying the childhood love of Emily Thorne. After the show’s conclusion in 2015, he appeared in The Player, Chicago P.D., Shades of Blue, and the Dynasty reboot. In 2019, he joined the cast of NBC’s This Is Us as Ryan Sharp.
