Nam Na-yeong (born 1970) is a South Korean film editor and negative cutter. She has collaborated with renowned directors such as Ryoo Seung-wan (Arahan, The City of Violence, Crying Fist), Kim Jee-woon (The Good, the Bad, the Weird, I Saw the Devil), and Kang Hyeong-cheol (Scandal Makers, Sunny, Tazza: The Hidden Card). As of 2020, she has edited over 60 films.
Born in Busan, South Korea, Nam studied theater and film at Kyungsung University. She started her career as a negative cutter in 1997 before transitioning to film editing with the 2002 movie Wet Dreams, eventually working with some of South Korea’s most prominent filmmakers.
