Biography:

Ragini Nandwani, born on September 4, 1989, is an Indian actress known for her appearances in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam films. She gained fame through her lead role in the Hindi TV series “Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein” (2011–12). Transitioning to the film industry, she made her Bollywood debut in the crime thriller “Dehraadun Diary” (2013), based on a true murder case. She also marked her entry into Tamil cinema with “Thalaivaa” (2013), receiving acclaim for her supporting role alongside Vijay.

Originating from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Nandwani started her career with minor roles in TV shows like “Ye Meri Life Hai,” “Thodi Khushi Thode Gham,” and an episode of “CID.” The breakthrough arrived with her role as Lovely Kaushik in “Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein.” Transitioning to films, she starred in “Dehraadun Diary,” featuring actors like Adhyayan Suman and Rati Agnihotri, though the movie didn’t perform well commercially.

In her prominent Tamil film role in “Thalaivaa,” she portrayed a significant character, gaining positive feedback. Despite facing delays in Tamil Nadu, the movie was well-received. This success led to more opportunities in the South Indian film industry.

Nandwani continued to explore diverse projects, including a Marathi film “Krupa Swaminchi” and the Malayalam hit “Peruchazhi.” She’s currently engaged in filming the Telugu movie “Siddhartha” and has signed a forthcoming Bollywood film. Alongside her film commitments, she also dabbled in television with roles like the episodic appearance in “Bhakton Ki Bhakti Mein Shakti.”
