Biography:

Nalneesh Neel, an Indian actor renowned for his roles in both Bollywood and Hollywood films, is best recognized for his performances in movies like The White Tiger, III Smoking Barrels, Chhichhore, Gulabo Sitabo, Bhor, Fukrey Returns, Raees, and Shuddh Desi Romance.

Born in Bisalpur Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, Neel later shifted to Shahjahanpur after completing his studies. There, he delved into theatre under the guidance of his mentor Dalip Anand, portraying various characters in numerous plays.

Neel’s notable film appearances include Bhor, Raees, Fukrey Returns, Shuddh Desi Romance, Chhichhore, and Gulabo Sitabo. His portrayal in the film Bhor earned him the Best Performance in a Negative Role award at the Caleidoscope Indian Film Festival, Boston, in 2020. Making his Hollywood debut in The White Tiger directed by Ramin Bahrani, Neel garnered praise for his depiction of a character with vitiligo lips.

In addition to his film endeavors, Neel has contributed to various short films such as The Foreigner, Acche Din, and Umeed. He has also been involved in advertising campaigns related to the Indian economy, featuring in commercials for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, 5rs ki maut, The case video Must Go On, and the NGO advertisement No to Violence, Yes to Love. His commercial portfolio extends to brands like SAMCO, Kisan Pipe, and Cello Pen Maxtreme.

Actively engaged in theatre, Neel performs under his production banner, SRS Entertainment. Currently, he is captivating audiences with his solo play Ek Haseena Paanch Diwane, based on Harishankar Parsai’s story.
