Nachiket Samant

Biography:

The Marathi film Gachchi and the Hindi comedy Comedy Couple, which was produced by Saregama and shown on ZEE5 in 2020, are two of Nachiket Samant’s most well-known works. He was first exposed to world cinema while serving on the Pune International Film Festival organization committee. This allowed him to network with international filmmakers and ultimately resulted in his working with Italian director Marco Amenta. His next Marathi film, Habbadi, which was also produced by Saregama, debuted on the first night of the 2020 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and can be streamed on Netflix. His upcoming Viacom film, Single Salma, starring Huma Qureshi, is still in post-production. In parallel, he is serving as a showrunner and director for Lionsgate’s second season of Hiccups and Hookups. Additionally, Nachiket is working on a romantic thriller film adaptation for Tusk Tales’ Priti Shahani.
