MyAnna Buring

Biography:

Buring relocated to the Middle East after being born in Sundsvall, Sweden, on September 22, 1979,  as My Margaretha Anna Buring Rantapää. Her mother sold Christmas trees and fur coats in Kuwait, and her father, Klas, worked as a surgeon and orthopaedic consultant.

Buring went to the American British Academy in Muscat, Oman, for his secondary education. Buring momentarily dropped out of school as a teenager to work as a glass collector in a Stockholm pub. After that, she relocated to England and attended a boarding school in Oxford to finish her International Baccalaureate. She attended the University of Bristol to study drama and Spanish, but she eventually dropped Spanish. In 2004, she graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
