Biography:

Mohsin Khan, born as Waseem Khan on October 26, 1991, is a prominent Indian television actor widely recognized for his portrayal of Kartik Goenka in Star Plus’s popular show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.”

Mohsin Khan, originally named Waseem, was born into a Gujarati Muslim family in Nadiad, Gujarat. His father later decided to change his name to Mohsin Khan. He completed his schooling at Children’s Academy in Mumbai. Subsequently, Mohsin pursued engineering at Thakur Polytechnic in Mumbai, earning a diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. He furthered his education with a Bachelor in Management Studies degree from Mithibai College.

Mohsin Khan initiated his career in the entertainment industry as the second assistant director for the film “Koyelaanchal.” His entry into the television industry happened with Star Plus’s show “Nisha Aur Uske Cousins.” However, he gained widespread recognition and fame for his role as Kartik Goenka in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” where he was paired opposite Shivangi Joshi.

In a significant career move, Mohsin is set to make his debut in the digital space. In October 2023, it was officially announced that he would be starring opposite Eisha Singh as Maddy in the web series “Jab Mila Tu” for JioCinema.
