Meka Ramakrishna

Biography:

Meka Ramakishna is a famous actor in Telugu movies and serials. His mother tongue is Telugu. He is an actor and producer. His native place is Tenali, but he grown up in kothapalli, karimnagar district. He used to watch stage shows at his childhood. While watching stage shows, he got interest on movies. He likes actors and actress like senior NTR, Savithri, S.V. Ranga Rao, Kamalahasan, and Amithab Bachchan. Till now, he completed more than 80 serials on television. He is very talkative.

He started his career in 1984 through movies and then he entered into serials. Basically he is a sports person. Sahini Srinivas is his best friend, he is a music director. Meka Ramakishna was produced one film. In that movie Sahini Srinivas was a music director. He was describing about movies and serials in his own words: “film field is high class, serials are middle class and stage shows are low grade”. He had also worked for one or two Hindi serials. What he says that prompting is very important in films and serials. He acted as a Nani’s father in Ashta Chemma movie. He got fame into Ruthuragalu serial, and Manjula Naidu was the director of ruthuragalu. He said that he did a great role in Ruthuragalu. He got great image, when he went to Tirupati, they recognized him because of Ruthuragalu. He is working in Anthapuram serial on ETV and he had done wonderful character in this serial. He did negative character in Veturi Sundhar Ramamurthy dance drama Srikakulam Chinnadi. He believes in Karma Siddhantham of Bhagavadgita.

In the year of 2000, he had done Ashala Pallaki serial in his own production. Rajiv Kanakala was the hero in this serial. This was the first daily serial on Maa TV. He got Nandi Award in 1997, and in 2011. He had done roles like Uyyala Narasimha Reddy is a patriotic character. He acted in Baktha Ambarish serial.

He acted as a young hero’s father role in Golconda High School movie. In Ashta Chemma movie, he played as hero’s father role.
