English multi-instrumentalist and composer Martin Paul Slattery was born in Blackburn on December 30, 1973. He is a flute, saxophone, keyboardist, electric and acoustic guitarist.
The Mescaleros, Joe Strummer’s supporting group, was Slattery’s first band. He played in the band. The Hours from 2004 to 2007 with Antony Genn. Since then, he has collaborated as a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter with other artists.
