His roles in Hindi cinema as villains are what people remember him for. Before he began acting, he held a black belt in karate and had experience as a model and dancer. His last on-screen appearance was in the 2019 comedy-drama Rangeela Raja. His first motion picture was Karishmaa 1984. He danced in silhouette for the Sanam Teri Kasam 1982 opening sequence before starring in Karishmaa.
