Lorenzo Cervasio

Biography:

Lorenzo Maria Cervasio, born in Milan in 1991, is a rising Italian actor known for his diverse roles across theater, television, and cinema. His artistic journey began in earnest at age 21 when he met Scottish acting coach Michael E. Rodgers, who introduced him to the nuances of acting through classic and contemporary American theatre. Lorenzo later trained at the renowned “Paolo Grassi” Civic School of Dramatic Art in Milan and studied at the Michael Rodgers Acting Studio between 2011 and 2012.

Lorenzo’s early stage career was marked by his collaboration with acclaimed Italian actor, writer, and director Filippo Timi. In 2013, he played the role of a prince in the dark comedy La Sirenetta at Teatro Franco Parenti, a performance that helped shape his theatrical presence.

After moving to Rome, Lorenzo transitioned into television and film. He appeared alongside the legendary Gigi Proietti in Una pallottola nel cuore 2, and portrayed Domenico, an ex-miner seeking a fresh start in Milan, in Il Paradiso delle Signore 2. His breakthrough in cinema came in 2020 with the lead male role in Io ricordo. Piazza Fontana, where he starred opposite Giovanna Mezzogiorno in a poignant historical drama about the 1969 Piazza Fontana bombing.

Lorenzo’s television career continued to flourish with his roles in DOC – Nelle tue mani, and in 2021, he took on the character of Federico De Gregorio, a young and ambitious football agent, in Sky’s sports drama Il Grande Gioco, acting alongside Giancarlo Giannini. In 2022, he portrayed the director of a fashion house in the crime drama La ragazza di Corleone.

Looking ahead, Lorenzo Cervasio is set to reach international audiences in Citadel: Diana (2024), the next installment of Prime Video’s spy universe developed by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. In this high-stakes action-thriller, he co-stars in what is expected to be a significant step forward in his global career. Lorenzo’s blend of stage discipline and on-screen charisma continues to establish him as one of Italy’s promising young talents.
