Liyou Abere

Biography:

Liyou Abere, a Toronto-based actress, began her acting career at the age of nine. After appearing in print ads and commercials, she lent her voice to the character Sidetable Drawer in the children’s animated series Blue’s Clues & You (Nickelodeon). Her on-screen roles include Red Wood Dr. O in Odd Squad Mobile Unit (PBS), Nyani Colom in Mrs. America (FX), Janine in The Boys (Amazon Prime), and most recently, Jamie in Locke & Key (Netflix). Outside of acting, Liyou enjoys singing, playing the piano and guitar, and is fluent in French.
