Linda Louise Duan (born 13 December 1993) is a British actress.
After completing her A-levels, she developed an interest in performing when she took a mime class with Desmond Jones. She credited Jones with encouraging her to consider alternatives to a traditional academic path, introducing her to specialized performing arts schools she hadn’t previously known about. After discussing the idea with her father and receiving his support, Duan chose to pursue this direction. Once she graduated, she began auditioning more actively.
While in Israel, Duan was contacted by assistant director Holly Gardner and invited to audition for a confidential project. Upon discovering it was connected to Marvel Studios, she quickly returned to London to try out for the role. She eventually learned that the project was Doctor Strange and began researching her character, Tina Minoru. Although the role was small, Duan found it energizing and expressed hope that her performance would help create more opportunities for other actresses. She said she wanted to serve as a positive example for Chinese girls, explaining that as a child she mostly saw blonde, blue-eyed dolls like Barbie and wanted to see more characters representing her heritage, such as Mulan.
In her free time, Duan practices karate.
