Laurence Olivier was an English actor, director, producer, and filmmaker widely regarded as one of the greatest performers in the history of theatre and cinema.
As a result of the long-lasting career, he was famous for interpreting Shakespearean characters on stage and screen in exceptional ways, becoming known worldwide due to brilliant performances in Hamlet, Henry V, Richard III, Othello, and King Lear.
