Vidya Vathi is an Indian actress known for her work in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films. She entered the film industry at the age of ten in 2002 as a child actress in Puri Jagannadh’s “Idiot.” Her debut as a lead actress came in 2007 in “Maa Siri Malli,” directed by Gudapaati Rajkumar. Vidya Vathi also featured in “Mei Mai,” her most recent film as of 2017.
In her initial appearance, Vidya Vathi played the role of Chanti’s (Ravi Teja) sister in Puri Jagannadh’s “Idiot” (2002), which was a remake of the Kannada film “Appu” and marked Puneeth Rajkumar’s debut.
